 DESCRIPTION

A company located in Lagos requires the services of an outstanding Graphic Designer, who will be responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact by designing, developing, coordinating and producing broad print and electronic communications for instructional and marketing uses.

Responsibilities

·         Design different types of layouts & illustrations, web design layout & typography according to brand guidelines.

·         Create & modify fonts according to brand guidelines.

·         Produce visual solutions to the communication needs using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness. 

·         Create professional designs and layouts for promotional materials including direct mailings, handouts, advertisements, posters, signs, logos and other visual layouts.

·         Prepare new and unique illustrations, innovative layout prints and rough sketches of presentation and organization brochures and design graphics for website in line with branding guidelines.

·         Determine style, technique and medium best suited to organization promotion strategies.

·         Assist in establishing and maintaining professional graphics and identify standards for the company’s communications.

·         Contributes to the editorial development of projects.

·         Operates a computer or uses traditional techniques for a variety of graphic design activities, includes desktop publishing and layout, production, illustration and prepress file preparation.

·         Creates and develops media using digital art and photographic techniques.

·         Monitors and tracks production projects to ensure proper and timely completion.

Qualification and required skills

·         Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field.

·         Minimum experience of 3 years in similar job.

·         Advanced experience and knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of digital art, graphic design, layout and illustration.

·         Operation of current graphics software programs e.g. CorelDraw, Photoshop, Illustrator, premiere pro e.t.c

·         Knowledge of graphic animation, video editing and media presentations

·         Awareness of printing techniques.

·         Awareness of current trends in visual arts, working knowledge of the latest compute packages.

·         Knowledge of photography and photography editing.

·         Must be resident in Lagos.
